About Me

I started in architecture and ended up writing software. Five years in Seoul building production systems taught me that the hard part is rarely the code. It's understanding the domain well enough to know what to build. I wrote a location SDK from scratch, ran an API server handling 100M+ requests a month, and shipped mobile apps in Flutter and Kotlin.

I now research deep learning at East Texas A&M, building models that estimate UAV position when GPS fails. The through-line is spatial data: buildings, locations, trajectories. I care about systems that hold up in production, whether that's a backend serving millions of requests or a model that has to run on limited hardware.
